As you may know, NIH has created a new module for the online completion and submission of Final Research Performance Progress Reports (F-RPPRs). While the F-RPPR and Annual RPPRs are similar, one notable difference is that you access the F-RPPR through the 鈥淧rocess Final RPPR鈥 link on the eRA Commons Closeout Status screen. In contrast, Annual RPPRs are accessed via a similar link on the Commons Status screen. This

With a $4.5 million award from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, researchers in the University of Kentucky Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) have established the Kentucky Consortium for Accountable Health Communities (KC-AHC) to address the health-related social needs of vulnerable patients across the Commonwealth.

Effective immediately, the College of Medicine SRAS GPSs will be using health insurance rates in grant budgets based on actual enrollment information that is available to them for College of Medicine employees via HR/Payroll in SAP. Previously, the highest rate for full family coverage has been used in most cases, since the budget figure was just expected to be an estimate of expenses.

The Diabetes Research Center at Washington University in collaborativion with the University of Kentucky announce the application process for Collabroative Pilot and Feasibility Awards . One or two awards in of $40,000 each for one year are being offered by the group. The grant submission deadline is 5pm on August 7, 2017.

Standard Procards cannot be used to access cash, which includes any type of cash equivalent. A payment card from a vendor would be considered a cash equivalent because it establishes an upfront balance to be utilized at a later date.

The Third Annual Appalachian Research Day was held May 24 in Hazard, Ky., hosted by the University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH). The event invites researchers and community members to 鈥渃ome sit on the porch鈥 and share research findings with the local communities involved in the studies.
Rural Appalachian communities experience some of the most severe health disparities in the nation, and community-based research is an effective method to identify problems and develop collaborative, effective solutions.
