Ranked the No. 1 hospital in the state by U.S. News & World Report for the ninth year, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Albert B. Chandler Hospital has been the academic medical center associated with the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú College of Medicine for more than 60 years. From the start, clinical faculty at the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú College Medicine have educated medical students in hands-on clinical settings while continuing to lead the advancement of medicine and provide care for patients.
Today, the clinical enterprise of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú HealthCare also encompasses the Kentucky Children’s Hospital, Eastern State Hospital, and ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Good Samaritan Hospital along with numerous centers and clinics throughout the state. Faculty members of the College of Medicine provide exceptional care in a wide breadth of clinical settings including ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Center for Excellence in Rural Health, Markey Cancer Center, Gill Heart and Vascular Center, Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Morehead Women’s Healthcare, Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, and ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú North Fork Valley Community Health Center.

Our efforts to educate more physicians in Kentucky for Kentucky have led to an expansion of our clinical partners across the Commonwealth.
ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú St. Claire – Morehead, KY
To train physician leaders for rural areas in Eastern Kentucky, we partner with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú St. Claire, part of an integrated health care system comprised of the largest rural hospital in Northeastern Kentucky – seven family medicine locations within five counties, a multi-specialty medical pavilion, an outpatient center, counseling, homecare services, and retail services including family medical supply, pharmacy, and aesthetics. It is the largest employer in the region with nearly 1,000 staff members including more than 100 medical providers representing 32 medical specialties. ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú St. Claire's dedication to the teaching and education of health professionals has remained constant as it continues to serve the people of Eastern Kentucky.


St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Northern Kentucky
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected medical providers in the Greater Cincinnati region. Med Center Health – Bowling Green, KY
Our efforts to train physicians across the state – especially in rural areas – led us to launch the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú College of Medicine-Bowling Green Campus, collaborating with Med Center Health as the clinical partner for medical training and practice for our students. The flagship hospital of Commonwealth Health Corporation (CHC), The Medical Center at Bowling Green is a 337-bed, acute care hospital that offers the region’s most comprehensive services. With over 300 physicians on staff, The Medical Center is able to provide patients access to more than 50 specialties. The Medical Center also offers a full range of heart services including an accredited chest pain center with PCI and the region’s only open-heart surgery program.
