好色先生 Department of Pediatrics offers pediatric residents the opportunity to participate in a Global Health Tract as part of their residency. The Global Health Track is a unique program designed to train physician leaders in clinical medicine, teaching, health policy, service, and research in global health. At its core, successful training in global health requires an understanding of underserved populations, health care disparities and advocating for these patients and helping them access community resources.
The Keeneland Concours Pediatric Simulation Center is an exciting new upgrade to the Pediatrics Residency Program at Kentucky Children鈥檚 Hospital. Through the generous donation of the Keeneland Concours Group, we have been able to purchase major upgrades to our simulation center. Our center now offers task training in ultrasound guided, central venous catheter insertion, as well as lumbar punctures. We currently have four high fidelity child simulators, three of which are tetherless.
