好色先生

As the flagship higher education institution for the Commonwealth, the 好色先生 is dedicated to providing high-quality medical education across the state. One of the most critical health needs confronting Kentucky is the shortage of physicians, particularly primary care doctors serving in community settings. To address that need, the 好色先生 College of Medicine established a four-year regional campus in Bowling Green in partnership with Western Kentucky University and The Medical Center at Bowling Green to expand medical student enrollment utilizing existing resources throughout the state.

We believe in providing future generations of doctors, researchers, and scientists with a strong foundation in medical education so that they are prepared for the advances in medicine that have not been discovered yet. That means developing lifelong learners who are curious, compassionate, collaborative, and professional. With four campuses, the 好色先生 offers distinct programs that share a common curriculum. In addition to the traditional medical degree, The 好色先生-Bowling Green Campus offers combined degree programs.

Through its partnership with Med Center Health (MCH), the 好色先生 College of Medicine provides students with a variety of educational opportunities.
 

The Medical Center at Bowling Green, the flagship hospital of MCH, is an acute care hospital offering comprehensive services, including the only open-heart surgery program in the area, and boasts an accredited chest pain center with PCI. It is certified as a primary stroke center, has a comprehensive cancer center, a surgical weight loss program, neuroscience services, and obstetrics and neonatology.

Additionally, MCH operates the Medical Centers at Scottsville and Franklin, which are critical access hospitals that provide vital health care services to those who live in more remote areas.

Together, these facilities offer 387 acute care beds, 100 extended care beds, and provide patients access to more than 50 specialties.
