The division of medical oncology provides medical treatments which include chemotherapy, targeted molecular therapy, immunotherapy and supportive and palliative care. The Markey Cancer Center's dedicated multidisciplinary treatment team includes physicians from all subspecialties, nurses, pharmacists, and researchers who collaborate to provide coordinated care for all patients. Beginning with the initial diagnosis through survivorship, the team is prepared to give the best care possible, placing the patient鈥檚 medical and emotional needs first.

Patients are seen in a supportive environment where they are offered the latest advances in surgical, radiation, and chemotherapeutic intervention.
