This student-nominated award recognizes ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú faculty members who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers, providing exceptional  experiences, as well as supporting and promoting the undergraduate research initiatives on campus.

Fernheimer is an associate professor in the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú College of Arts and Sciences'  and director of the . She is also an affiliate of the  and the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Lewis Honors College. In 2016, Fernheimer was awarded the  in Jewish Studies. Along with Associate Professor Beth Goldstein, she established the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence  at the .

Luhan is the John Russell Groves Endowed Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture in  and an affiliate professor with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú’s Lewis Honors College and the College of Engineering’s . Luhan holds a University Research Professorship and is a nationally recognized architect, scholar, author, professor and academic leader whose work investigates how design, emerging digital technologies, critical theory, pedagogy, practice and academic-industry partnerships intersect.
