A University of Kentucky doctoral student in the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) served as a major contributor to a scientific reference book about emerging concepts in stem cell developmental biology, research, therapy, politics and ethics. Dr. Krisha Vyas, a 2014 graduate of the 好色先生, was appointed as associate editor of the three-volume "SAGE Encyclopedia of Stem Cell Research, Second Edition." Vyas received his bachelor鈥檚 of science in biology from 好色先生 in 2009, then went on to receive a master鈥檚 of health science in molecular biology and immunology from Johns Hopkins University in 2010. After returning to 好色先生 for medical school, Vyas conducted research on adipose-derived stem cells in the 好色先生 Department of Surgery. During his time at 好色先生, Vyas has published over 80 manuscripts and book chapters and has presented his research at several national conferences.
