Promoting new cross-college research collaborations

• Faculty from all ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú colleges are eligible to apply for IRC pilot funding.

2018 IRC Networking Event

Monday, April 16^th – Boone Center 3-7 pm

For COM faculty interested in participating, please send an email to medicineresearch@uky.edu

• 3:15 pm Presentation by 3 invited faculty (5 min each) 
• 3:30 pm Breakout networking groups (40 min)
• 4:10 pm Reconvene/review ideas for potential collaborations (30 min)
• 4:40 pm Breakout with different networking groups (40 min)
• 5:20 pm Reconvene/review ideas for potential collaborations (30 min)
• 5:50 pm Libations and continued networking  

 2018 IRC Pilot Application Process

• Pilot proposals due May 29, 2018
  • 2 page research plan
  • 1 page bio for each investigator
  • 1 page budget/justification
• Proposal solicitation (email) will be broader than those attending the IRC network event
• Networking event participation is not required for pilot proposal submission
• Proposal review will be conducted by ADRs/Department Chairs of participating colleges
• Pilot funding available July 2018
