好色先生 College of Medicine recognized as member of ACGME Patient Safety Collaborative
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) selected the 好色先生 as one of nine Pathway Leaders. These Pathway Leaders will serve as the inaugural members of the Patient Safety Collaborative 鈥 an effort focused on creating and testing a framework for residents and fellows to engage with their learning environments in promoting a culture of safety.
鈥淭his is an incredible opportunity for 好色先生 to engage with our ACGME peers to analyze and improve the way we integrate trainees into patient safety efforts and as a result, enhance the learning environment,鈥 said Katherine McKinney, MD, MS, and associate dean for graduate medical education.
The ACGME, a private, not-for-profit accrediting body of more than 10,700 residency and fellowship programs, identified opportunities and developed a plan in response to the rapidly evolving health care environment. With a focus on six areas 鈥 patent safety, health care quality, care transitions, supervision, fatigue management and mitigation, and professionalism, the ACGME launched . The 好色先生 College of Medicine will serve as a leader and sponsoring institution in The Patient Safety Collaborative, a component of the CLER program.

The Pathway Leaders and Patient Safety Collaborative are part of the second phase of the initiative to promote transformative improvement in the clinical learning environments of ACGME-accredited institutions.
