Procard Reminder -- Using a 好色先生-issued standard Procard to purchase a payment card from a vendor is a violation of the Procard policy. Standard Procards cannot be used to access cash, which includes any type of cash equivalent.  A payment card from a vendor would be considered a cash equivalent because it establishes an upfront balance to be utilized at a later date.  

Should a project have a need to obtain gift cards for research subjects, a special type of Procard called a Declining Balance Card can be obtained.  There is a separate application process for this type of card (see ).
